Redeployment to Strasbourg (France)

Strasbourg (France)/Cape Verde, July 3rd 2006

The core of Eurocorps personnel redeployed from Cape Verde to Strasbourg today. The NRF-camp at Baia das Gatas, for some time “the second largest city of Sao Vicente”, was run by Eurocorps military and is now being dismantled again. The remaining troops are back on rations and will put up their individual combat tents while putting a full stop to the successful NATO-exercise Steadfast Jaguar. NRF7 is standby for the next six months and can be sent to wherever the North Atlantic Council decides.
