Visit at the 15th Polish Mechanized Brigade

Today Lieutenant General Pedro Pitarch visited the 15th Polish Mechanized Brigade in Orzysz, in the North-East of Poland.

He was welcomed by Brigadier General Zbigniew SMOK, who presented his unit to the Eurocorps Commander.

Several dynamic demonstrations took place in the exercise area, including tank firings.

Impressed with the high level of readiness, Lieutenant General Pitarch expressed his satisfaction. The 15th Polish Mechanized Brigade could be Poland’s choice in case they would place a combat unit under Eurocorps’ operational command.
