French National Day Ceremony with Eurocorps participation

A military parade took place today in Strasbourg to commemorate the French national day (seizure of “la Bastille” by revolutionaries and end of the French monarchy). Units representing the police, the gendarmerie, the Air Force, the Navy and the Army stationned in the area took part in this ceremony. Eurocorps troops headed by the commander of the Headquarters Support Battalion together with the flags of the Eurocorps five framework nations were placed at the first line of the parade and opened the march that closed the ceremony, emphasizing the importance of multinationality.
