Eurocorps deploys its reconnaissance assets

Strasbourg/Entzheim/Pau (France), 5-6 March 2008

Eurocorps activates the Fact Finding Team (FFT = 26 soldiers and 7 vehicles), its advance party for operational deployments.

The aircraft takes off from Entzheim and lands after two hours at a military air base near Pau.

A tent is built up and the satellite links are established.

FFT keeps HQ Eurocorps informed on its recce and liaison mission via videoconferencing.

The next day they dismantle and are airlifted back home.
