A visit to the French Chief of Defence Staff

Paris (France), October 25th 2007

The Spanish Lieutenant General Pedro PITARCH Commanding General of the Eurocorps since September 21rst paid a visit to the Chief of Defense (Chef d’état-major des armées) of the French Armed Forces, General Jean-Louis GEORGELIN to discuss on the situation of the Eurocorps.
Promoted Lieutenant General in April 2005, General PITARCH was appointed Commander in Chief of the Spanish Land Force in January 2006 until he took command of the Eurocorps.
