Brigade General REMONDIN was born on August 14th, 1951. In September 1972, he enters the Coëtquidan Military Academy as a Saint-Cyr cadet. At the end of his studies, he chooses to serve in the Logistic Corps.
In September 1975, he is assigned to the 88th Support Regiment in Sissone (France) to serve in the Traffic Control Squadron. In August 1979, he is assigned
to the 12th Command and Support Regiment in Evreux (France) where he completes his command phase as a Captain at the head of the "Traffic Control and Transport" Squadron.
In August 1983, he is assigned to the Logistic Branch of the headquarters of the 9th Marine Infantry Division, first in Saint-Malo (France) and then in Nantes (France) from 1986 on. In 1984, he participates in the Lebanon Multinational Security Force in Beirut.
In September 1988, he gains admission to the War College as attendant of the 102nd class. Two years later, he is called to serve in the 602nd Traffic Control Regiment as chief of the "Operation and Training" Branch.
In August 1992, he is assigned to the staff of the 1st Army in Mercy-les-Metz (France) as officer writer within the "Studies" Branch. In 1993, he works for UNPROFOR in Ex-Yugoslavia. In September 1993, he serves in Créteil (France) as writer in the Logistic Branch of the Joint Headquarters.
On July 22nd, 1994, he takes command of the 601st Traffic Control Regiment in Arras (France). He is promoted Colonel on December 1st, 1994.
In July 1997, he goes to Paris (France) in order to serve in the Logistic Corps Inspectorate as Chief of the "General Studies" Section. On August 3rd, 1998, he is assigned to the Army Doctrine and Professional Military Education Command in Paris (France) as writer in the Army Research and Doctrine Study Center within the Logistic Branch.
On August 1st, 2000, he is given the post of Chief of the Logistic Division within the Force Headquarters Nr 2 (EMF2) in Nantes (France). In 2001 he joins the SFOR operation in Ex-Yugoslavia. On August 5th, 2002, he is named deputy of the commanding general of the 2nd Logistic Brigade in Martignas-sur-Jalles (France). On September 1st, 2003 he is promoted Brigadier General.
Since September 26, 2003, he is the Deputy Chief of Staff Support in the Eurocorps Staff.
Brigade General REMONDIN is decorated with the Legion of Honour (Knight), the National Order of Merit (Officer) and the Cross of Military Honour (with bronze star).
He is married and has three children.
