A new Deputy Chief of Staff Operations

Strasbourg (France), 19th June 2008.

Today during a ceremony Lieutenant General Pedro Pitarch, Commanding General Eurocorps, handed over the post of Deputy Chief of Staff Operations to Brigadier General Eddy Staes (right side of the picture). He replaces Major General Hubert De Vos (left side of the picture) at this challenging post.

During the same ceremony Brigadier General Georg Nachtsheim, Chief of Staff of HQ Eurocorps, took the opportunity to hand out the German Medal "Bundeswehrverdienstkreuz in Gold" to the former Deputy Chief of Staff Support, Brigadier General ret. André Baudoin.
