Visit of the Venezuelan Vice Minister of Defense and Chief of the General Staff.

Major General Carlos Enrique Aocosta Perez, Vice Minister of Defense and Chief of the General Staff of the Republic of Venezuela, paid a visit to Eurocorps Headquarters on April 5th 2007 accompanied by a delegation of his Staff. Acosta Perez was welcomed by Commander Eurocorps Lieutenant General Charles-Henri Delcour. A series of briefings was set up at their demand, giving specific insights in the functioning of a regional multinational army corps headquarters. Both advantages and constraints were presented referring to Eurocorps' rich experience since 1993. A touring of the Homebase Situation Centre and the new training platform within the Aubert de Vincelles barracks ended their informative visit.
