Eurocorps present at «Fête des deux rives»

Strasbourg (France), 1st June 2008.

Each year on the river banks of the Rhine the friendship between France and Germany is celebrated with a popular party. At the river crossing for pedestrians, linking Kehl to Strasbourg, a lot of organizations installed their expositions. Typical Alsatian food was cooked and a band was playing well-known songs from the European Union member nations.

At this occasion HQ Eurocorps had his own exposition stand in order to augment the awareness of the public of the presence of Eurocorps in Strasbourg, in order to explain the specific concept of HQ Eurocorps and in order to show how soldiers from different nations can co-operate.

This sunny Sunday the Public Information Office of HQ Eurocorps was present at the “Fête des deux rives” from 10h00 till 18h00. They distributed information on HQ Eurocorps. They talked with the visitors and answered to their questions. They distributed small gifts to the large number of kids: Eurocorps stickers or Eurocorps ball pens.
