Build up of exercise Command Post Training II

Strasbourg (France), 27th May 2008

HQ Eurocorps will execute its Command Post exercise from the 2nd June till 13th June 2008. Some 500 soldiers will participate coming from Belgium, France, Germany, Spain, Luxembourg and Poland.

The Multinational Command Support Brigade (MNCS Bde) is already working at full capacity in order to prepare the training platform for the start of the exercise. Tents have to be inflated, shelters have to be equipped, security installations have to be deployed, power lines have to be installed and the entire Communication and Information System (CIS) has to be activated and tested.

This new platform makes it possible for Eurocorps members to systematically improve their professional know-how and to preserve their acquired knowledge, namely: the certification “NATO High Readiness Force (HRF)” and the certification “NATO Response Force (NRF)”.
