A courtesy call to the new mayor of the city of Strasbourg

Strasbourg (France), 12th June 2008

Today, Lieutenant General Pedro PITARCH, Eurocorps Commander, paid Mr. Roland RIES a courtesy call. Mr. RIES is the mayor of the city of Strasbourg that hosts the multinational Headquarters since its creation in 1992. He is also an elected representative to the French Senate. He welcomed General PITARCH at the municipal building on the “Place de l’Etoile” before having an office call during which they brought up the close relationship between the two organizations.
