650 runners partcipating in charity run

Sao Vicente (Cape Verde), 25th June 2006

650 runners partcipated at the Land Component Camp in Baia das Gatas in a 6.5 km charity run meant to improve living conditions of Cape Verdian kids. Amongst them Eurocorps Major General Francisco Puentes Zamora and also 35 Cape Verdians . In the picture the general congratulates Miguel Jesus, the Cape Verdian winner of the race. Every participant except the locals payed 4 Euros. Together with additional donations, the initiative was good for 6740,80 Euros.
