Mr. PÖTTERING visits EUROCORPS

On July 12, 2007 Mr. Hans-Gert PÖTTERING, president of the European parliament, will pay a visit to Eurocorps headquarters. Accompanied by personal staff members he will be welcomed by Lieutenant General Charles-Henri DELCOUR, Eurocorps commanding general.

The visiting party will be first informed on Eurocorps through briefings delivered by general officers. A tour of the Command Posts training platform will then allow the distinguished visitor to have an overview on the equipment that provide the multinational headquarters with full sustainability and autonomy when deploying to a remote area of operations.

A gathering of Eurocorps personnel will conclude the visit and offer the opportunity to meet with soldiers coming from the ten nations represented in the headquarters.
