Visit of oldest organization of professional journalists in the world
Strasbourg (France), 14th May 2008
Today the International Division of the Chartered Institute of Journalists (CIoJ), oldest established organization of professional journalists in the world, visited HQ Eurocorps. After lunch the journalists visited the training area, witnessed the Fact Finding Team inspection and were briefed on HQ Eurocorps by the Public Information Office. Highlight of this visit was the off the record interview with Lieutenant General Pedro PITARCH, Commanding General Eurocorps.
The CIoJ group members were its chairman John SZEMEREY, Verité REILY-COLLINS, Alun HILL, Janet WILSON, Kenneth BROOKES, Dr. Kenneth RUSSELL, Marcus SHERWOOD-JENKINS, Murdoch MACTAGGART, Glyn STRONG, Charlie HARRIS and Martyn BOND. These journalists work for CNN International, BBC, Sunday Times, The Independent, International Institute for Strategic Studies and many others.
