President European Parliament at HQ Eurocorps

Strasbourg (France), July 12th 2007

European Parliament President Hans-Gert PöTTERING was welcomed in front of a multinational honour guard by Lieutenant General Charles-Henri Delcour. The President of the European Parliament visited the HQ Eurocorps military together with some of his closest staff members. Pöttering and his delegation first received a detailed presentation briefing on the Eurocorps. Then they had the opportunity to discuss operational possibilities of a a high readiness headquarters like Eurocorps’. The visit ended with a tour of the new training platform.
