Exercise Common Endeavour Welcome Parade

Strasbourg (France), June 11th 2007

In the afternoon 596 participants, soldiers from twelve different nations, gathered for the official welcome parade taking place at Aubert de Vincelles compound.

The countries represented are:

France (177), Germany (153), Spain (117), Belgium (116), Poland (14), Austria (9), Turkey (3), Greece (2), Luxembourg (2), USA (1), Canada (1), Netherlands (1)

 

Lieutenant General Charles-Henri Delcour inspected the troops and addressed a welcome speech in which he explained the aims of this exercise.

 

The parade was followed by a social activity allowing the participants to get to know each other before the training program starts.
