French National Day Ceremony

A military parade took place today in Strasbourg to commemorate the French national day (seizure of “la Bastille” by revolutionaries and end of the French monarchy). Units representing the police, the gendarmerie, the Air Force, the Navy and the Army stationned in the area took part in this ceremony.

The French Lieutenant General Christian Damay, Commander of the French Rapid Reaction Corps, visited Headquarters Eurocorps. During the office call and the book signing, he was welcomed by Lieutenant General Pedro Pitarch, Commanding General Eurocorps.
