Snow turns Common Tenacity into a winter exercise

Wildflecken (Germany), 12 November 2007

This weekend a stormy weather front coming from the East hit the Rhön Mountains in Germany. At an altitude of 600 meter, Camp Wildflecken experienced heavy snowfall. In no time the command posts of exercise Common Tenacity were covered under a 25cm thick pack of snow. This snow affected the road conditions in the training camp, but the exercise continues as planned.
