NRF 7 stand-by period ends today

Strasbourg (France), 10th January 2007

The 7th rotation of the NATO Response Force (NRF) ends today, after a six month long operational standby period. Eurocorps assumed the Command of the Land Component of this NRF7 rotation.
The picture shows the exercise Steadfast Jaguar on the Cape Verde Islands, in June 2006. This NATO-wide exercise, with more than 7000 participants, was the most important part of the preparation to NRF7.
